birthing a movement

For many in the Philippines and around the world, the phenomenon that is Leni Robredo has taken our breath away - in every aspect and at many levels, the woman is phenomenal.

tuloy and pagasa

Even with the 2022 election outcome we had tirelessly worked to win, she stood unbowed and undefeated - encouraging the huge turnout of supporters and volunteers to keep working for the people and our country. Leni Robredo embodies Maya Angelou's famously popular hymn to women.

Now you understand

Just why my head’s not bowed.

I don’t shout or jump about

. . . .

Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,

That’s me.

‘Phenomenal Woman’ appeared in Maya Angelou’s third volume of poetry, “And Still I Rise”. It was first published in 1978. In this poem, she celebrates her body and the uniqueness that separates her from other women.

Vice President Leni Robredo addressed the crowd in the massive thanksgiving event with running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan to personally express her gratitude for their hard work throughout the grueling and emotionally charged presidential campaign.

for every Leni vote, cast one for Kiko

At the “Tayo ang Liwanag: Isang Pasasalamat,” the Vice President also assured kakampinks that a day after her term ends on June 30, she will begin her new job as head of the Angat Buhay NGO, which she envisioned to be the "biggest volunteer network in our country’s history."

"Walang nasayang. Hindi tayo nabigo. Masasayang lang ang ating pinagsikapan kung titigil tayo at babalik sa dating kalakaran. Gaya ng sabi ko: ang namulat, hindi na muling mapipikit."

‎"Nothing was wasted. We have not failed. It would be a waste of all we've worked for to stop and revert back to what prevailed. As I said: once awake, never to be shut." ~ Leni Robredo

Move on. Move forward. Move up.
