We got hooked early, as children on Sunday afternoons, we would congregate on our parents' huge bed, going through mom's boxes of jewelry.

Under the guise of cleaning and organizing them, this was our best playtime - adventuring through the made up tales our wild imaginations conjured as we rubbed each piece to pristine brilliance.
As we grew up, we would return to our hoard like dragons guarding their treasure. We wore them to parties, performances, and presentations.
In time these heirlooms tarnished, fell apart, or were lost. In order to save what we could we learned to refashion and repair them.

With our added interest as holistic practitioners and natural healers, we turned our jewelry making skills into making totems, tools, and talismans for work. Power pieces to protect and heal, that look good enough to display with pride.
It has been a while since we made some, so we are happy to have had the opportunity to revitalize these two vintage flea market finds.
