The combination of returning to our childhood hometown and being surrounded by family - especially for the holidays - sure exercises the crafts part in us.

Months ago, party favors and giveaways were ordered online and shipped from the US.

Then we got to sewing the tabletop felt dolls to match the party favors.

Once home, all items were inspected and approved by the exacting demands of the hostess.

Then trotted out and put on proud display for the occasion.

And happily admired by all with lots of "oooh"s and "ahhh"s!
